An Uphill October Battle

October, so far, feels like I’m in a race against time. Things to do are pouring everywhere and I barely make it past a day in one piece. My nocturnal body clock turned my nights into days and vice versa. Though I try so hard to stall myself into not sleeping to get things done on time, my weak immune system defies me by succumbing up to every sick virus I come in contact with. *Sigh*

NO MORE RANTING!

Thanks to the caffeine infused drinks, I managed to squeeze in a day-walk at Robinsons Magnolia yesterday to lighten up my mood. One good trick to keep me in high spirits is by wearing vibrant outfits.

Not leaving out the fact that it was raining cats and dogs outside, and that the newly opened mall feels like freaking ice skating rink, I put together this outfit. The faux fur peter pan collar dress kept me cozy inside the extremely cold mall (or was I just too sick?).

Boots have always been my favorite type of shoe. I bought my first pair of fashion boots early in my high school years. And if my memory serves me right, it was on my birthday. I love how can boots amply spice up a boring outfit. And they’re always comfortable to wear!

These boots are made for walkin’. Boots with fur never go out of style. Low-heel boots are ideal for long walks at the mall or the likes of it.

The plush toy flower that I’m holding in the photos is actually Zvyka’s (youngest sister) pen. Isn’t it the prettiest toy/pen ever? It even matches my outfit!

Aside from the awful cold I had, my day ended great. Nonetheless, I still have a lot to make up for - lost sleep, skipped meals and ditched workout sesh. How can October be this taxing? Boo!

Hey, look what I found!

I shop for backpacks on very rare occasions only. After my secondary education, there’s less use for backpacks so I lost interest on them. But I still keep a few to carry my laptop and for short out-of-town trips.

Yesterday was one of those very rare occasions. While I was busy checking out stores, this fluorescent pink bag inside Bratpack caught my eye. Talk about love at first sight! The sales lady told me that it’s a limited edition JanSport backpack and that there’s only few pieces left. Whether it’s true or not, I knew I had to buy it… and so I did!

Now that it’s just sitting inside my room, I’m still trying to figure out where I can use it. :D
